Biking, Rafting with Jungle Safari

6 Days Bike, 3 Days raft,2 nights Chitwan & 5 nights Kathmandu

Bicycling in the Himalayas is an unforgettable experience. Strange byways, snow-clad mountains in the background, tedious ride uphill & exhilarating downhill rides. There are the many ethic people to know, forests filled with exquisite birds, & much more. If you are a biking enthusiast, come prepared for a trip of a lifetime.

Each activity is rated with moderate to difficult rides & is fully supported by experienced guides, a back-up vehicle & camping staff.

Days 1-2: On arrival in Kathmandu, you will be taken to your hotel. A welcome drink & a dinner await you. The next day will be a guided tour of the ancient temples & shrines & other interesting cultural highlights.

Days 3-11: We begin our trip in Patan or the city of fine arts & visit the Palace Square, which constitutes perhaps the most spectacular example of Newari architecture in the valley. From there we cycle pass Chovhar Gorge to visit Dakshinakli (a shrine in where religious sacrifices of animals take place).Then we will cycle up to Kakani, where we can see the panoramic view of Annapurna ll, Himal Chuli & Shisapangma Feng. We will cycle through an incredible dirt road with views of the Himalayas on one side & the Kathmandu Valley & the Mahabharat Range on the other. We will camp at Nagi Gompa, an active Tibetan Buddhist Monastery. Then down to Kathmandu valley floor to visit Budhanilkantha (Reclining Vishnu Temple) & proceed to Bhaktapur. After visiting Bhaktapur, we will cycle up to Dhulikhel, a beautiful vista point from where you can see Himalayan peaks like Langtang & Gaurishanker to name a few. With plenty of roller coaster rapids, Trisuli River is by far the most popular rafting river of Nepal. You glide through the clam stretches of water & camp on unspoiled beaches near the Jungle. The village people are charming, there are many religious sites to be seen & the river flows to Royal Chitwan National Park, where one-horned rhino, the royal Bengal tiger & the gharial crocodile live.

Trisuli River Rafting with Jungle Safari

With plenty of roller coaster rapids, Trisuli River is by far the most popular rafting site of Nepal. You glide through the calm stretches of water & camp on unspoiled beaxhes near the jungle. The Royal Chitwan National Park, where the one-horned rhino, the royal Bengal tiger & the gharial crocodile live.

Sunkosi River Expedition

Sunkosi river means, a river of gold in the Nepalese language. This is a river for the world-class rafters. Always challenging & commanding great attention. The Sunkosi River boasts of many rapids. It is a holy river to the Hindus as it flows into the Ganges River. It is unharmed environmentally & the surrounding jungles are a home to many animals, birds & insects.

Karnali River rafting

The Karnali River is the largest & longest of all rivers in Nepal. Flowing from near mount Kailash, in Tibet it rushes down in waterfalls & rapids, some 15,000 feet then reaches the terai plains. It is in far west Nepal & is a world-class rafting experience.

ITINERARY

Days 1-2: On arrival in Kathmandu. You will be taken to your hotel & welcomed by welcome drink & a dinner. The next day will be guided city tour of Kathmandu valley tour of ancient's temples & shrines & other interesting cultural highlight.

Day 3: This day we travel by biking city of Bagmati, this city is fourteen century's historic village in the south of Kathmandu valley. Bungmati is renowned for its Rato Machindarnath temple & traditional Newari architecture.

Day 4-7: On our way down ridge we pass through several rustic villages with a continuing back drop of Himalayan views. We visit Changu Narayan, where Newari artisans carved beautiful stone carving to Lord Vishnu in the sixth & seventh centuries. We climbing & descending trail Dhulikhel to Namo Buddha which is one of the Buddhist pilgrimage. Our way back beautiful Newari farmhouses of Bhaktapur to Kathmandu.
